Manqoba Q Mathunjwa

Manqoba started out in front of the camera as a lead actor, appearing in Mzansi Magic's short film series Jozi to Kappa and the sitcom Sam'sokolo, which ran for two seasons on the channel.

His real strength turned out to be behind the lens — moving up from 1st Assistant Director to Head Director on some of Mzansi's biggest shows, including DiepCity, Isitha, The Black Door, Ifalakhe and Thandeka's Diary, with work that's also reached Netflix.
